Christmas at Nana & Papa's

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! We had so much fun this Christmas with Parker & Presley. Those kids soaked in and enjoyed every last minute of the Christmas celebrations! Our first family Christmas gathering was at my parents house celebrating with my brother and sister in law & my Memaw.
I forgot to bring my camera with me so these are all from my iPhone :)

Presley was so excited for the kitty she had been wanting!

Camping ;)

Up next (hopefully soon!) Christmas at GG's, Christmas at Gramma & Grandad's, Christmas Eve at Granny's, then Christmas morning after Santa came!

Baby Boy 23 Weeks

Our baby boy is growing fast & time is speeding right by! The last couple of weeks I have been able to feel his strong movements (and Eric feels them!) and I can tell he's getting bigger & bigger! I felt flutters pretty early on but now it's definite kicks and punches :). We had a sonogram of him a couple weeks back and every part of him was checked and measured (anatomy scan.) He looked healthy and was measuring right on for his due date. It was so exciting to have a sonogram finally because we hadn't seen him since 7 weeks, which at that point he was teeny tiny. During the sonogram he seemed fairly calm to me, unlike the sonograms of his big brother & sister who seemed to be moving non stop. Maybe even back in the womb Parker & Presley were firing each other up & probably kicking and fighting over space. :) Baby boy has the sweet life having all the space to himself ;). When I feel him kicking and moving around now I think wow I can't imagine two of those in there!
So far at 23 weeks I'm feeling pretty good! At this point with p&p I know I was already having some pains in my hips, legs, etc. So far I haven't had too much happening with this pregnancy. Just in the last few days I've started having some sleeping trouble. Poor Eric sleeps with one lonely pillow while I have an entourage of like 8! I have no problem falling asleep it's just the waking up every time I want to reposition and dragging all my pillows around with me that's a pain! Only other complaint would be bad heart burn, I had that with P&P too and I'm sure my love for spicy foods doesn't help this!

Without further ado our sweet baby boy-
See that sweet little profile?

Parker & Presley I know are going to be such a great big brother & sister! They talk about him often. One night Presley said, "mommy we're going to have to hold the baby over the potty because he will be too small." I had to remind her of diapers & potty training. Today Parker said he would teach the baby to run. Presley quickly reminded Parker that babies crawl not run ;). I told Parker don't worry when the baby is around 1, you can teach him to run!
The amount of hugs & kisses p&p give the baby (my tummy) is endless, so very sweet!
Here's a few photos watching baby boy grow-

Wow seeing those photos together makes me see how fast he really is growing! Eek I know there are some bigggg days ahead in my world ;)

Looking forward to getting things ready for this sweet boy after this busy Christmas time!

Christmas Fun!

Merry Christmas Eve! I sure love Christmas Eve but woke up with a tiny bit of sadness this morning knowing that after tomorrow it's all over for this year!

We've fully enjoyed the Christmas season this year! There were many fun things on my Christmas to do list we didn't get to this year due to Parker being sick for over a week & the big ice storm- but there's always next year! :) Here are some of the things we've been up to this Christmas season!

Waiting for flu shots! They were such big kids, no tears from either one of them!

Ready for dance class :) she wore that tiara for a couple days straight, even slept in it ;)

Pres before nap time one day having a conversation with herself ;) She usually plays with her stuffed animals for a little bit before falling asleep

Going to look at Christmas lights around the neighborhood!

Seeing Frozen with some friends!

Making Christmas trees!

Sweet babies!

Before going to see Santa!

Pretty curled hair for the Santa pic :)

They loved Santa so much! They ran right up & climbed up like he was family. Santa looked at us & said, "well they're excited!" :) They both told Santa what they wanted- Presley- a flashlight stuffed unicorn, and a flamingo. Parker- he pretty much listed every construction vehicle :) dump truck, crane truck, etc. We told Parker many times that Santa was visiting a hotel but he was insistent we were at the North Pole :)

Treats for their school!

Ready for their Polar Express Day at school! Presley's hair was still curly from Santa the night before :)

We also had our friends over for a Christmas party!

After Christmas at GG's house- Parker the police officer & Presley the veterinarian!

Making Christmas cookies & eating the icing ;)

Presley said- well we better be careful, he might walk right out of here! (Completely serious talking about gingerbread cookies!)

Ready for Christmas at Gramma & Grandads

Update coming soon on our growing baby boy

November

November managed to fly by in the blink of an eye and throw us straight into the beautiful Christmas season!
We love daddy

With this sweet girl at the doctors office. That's a petti skirt on her head that she insisted on bringing to the doctor- she's a mess ;) looks real sick here doesn't she? Ha!

November and into December we've been plagued with lovely sickness. We've taken turns with coughs/sickness and then in December we've battled stomach virus'. Probably the reason our month went by so quickly! Busiest time of the year for photography, plus sick kids!

Decorating their little tree

We also sadly had a death in the house. Fishy (Beta) went to heaven. We told them after the fact so here they are checking to see if they can see fishy in the toilet

Enjoyed a day at the park when it was nice out!

New big kid furniture and beds! Presley had a hard time adjusting! Baby is getting her crib and furniture, she is very much missing her old bed. She told me just the other night that she doesn't want to grow anymore, she wants to be little so she can have her old little bed. :(

Parker on the other hand welcomed his new bed with open arms & has loved it every minute! :)

When we decorated for Christmas!

Looking like Christmas!

They love the new train set around the tree!

Enjoying some time outside. Silly Parker! :)

We loaded up the Saturday after Thanksgiving to go to the Christmas lights drive thru. And wow, everyone else in Texas had the same idea! It probably took us a total of 5 hours between traffic and driving through. We didn't get home until after 11pm- that's insanely late for us :) But P&P were bursting with excitement- they lovedddd every part of it!

We stopped at Starbucks for drinks on the way! Presley wasn't happy her hot chocolate was too hot.

The light tunnel at the end

They loved sitting up front with us as we went through the lights park!

And our Christmas countdown is opening a wrapped Christmas book each night until Christmas. 24 Christmas books! A lot of these we already had, I only had to buy about 10 more and plan to use the same books each year. :)
