A Cozy Weekend

A few weekends ago I had hoped to fill our weekend with fun Christmas activties, but the weather had other plans! It rained and was cold all weekend! No problem, we had fun inside together. :)

Listened to "T'was the Night Before Christmas" read by this sweet bear. Another one of my Christmas favorites, he reads the entire book.

Enjoyed a crackling fire...ha! I actually love this DVD of a fire I found at Wal Greens- much safer but still the view...minus the cozy warmth though...maybe next year. ;)

And of course had fun together. :)

Post Thanksgiving Weekend

The weekend after Thanksgiving we got out the inside Christmas decorations! I had hoped to have the outdoor taken care of as well but the weather didn't cooperate + all of our icicle lights we put out were broken...which Eric didn't know until AFTER he put them up---lights can be so frustrating. :) Anyway, LOVVVINNNGG Christmas this year with our babes and they are LOVING all of the beauty! Every morning my early riser (Parker!) will ask me to turn the tree on and the lights on the fire place...and every night we say, "night night" to the Christmas tree. So sweet. :) Nothing more beautiful than twinkling lights on a cozy night!

And this would be the reason I have a half decorated tree :)

We also had my family over for dinner for my Mom's birthday!

Thankful Thanksgiving!

I'm a little late with my Thanksgiving pictures but better late than never, right? :) The Christmas rush for pictures is slowing down, so I'm back and I have lots of pictures to share soon!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! After the babies woke up from their afternoon nap we headed to my Aunt's house for a little visit with my family before heading to Eric's parents house for Thanksgiving dinner.

I had to take this picture of my brother Kyle with Parker because it seemed there was a trend that when he picked up either Parker or Presley they would lay there head down on him, very odd and we loved it! :) Parker of course picked his head back up by the time I got over to take the picture.

Oh Christmas Tree!

It's my favorite time of the year! I love everything about the magical Christmas season! The weekend before Thanksgiving we went to an area tree lighting- we met Uncle Kyle & Aunt J +some friends there! We had fun and Parker definitely got out 1/10 of his energy. ;)

We had more Christmas fun planned for this weekend but the rainy, cold weather took threw those plans out...but it was a cozy weekend home. More pictures coming soon!  

Sea Life!

The day before Thanksgiving one of my best friends Monica and I met at the mall to shop, eat, and go see the new aquarium- Sea Life with our little ones. Loved it!

*note- some pictures are blurry- the aquarium doesn't allow you to use a flash and I had only my small point and shoot camera. :)

 Favorite part- the walk through tunnel! It was hilarious that all 3 of our little ones were scared to take steps on the glass (or whatever it's called- plexiglass? haha) floor. They would take tiny little steps but the girls mostly just wanted to be picked up. Parker was brave. ;)

 And this was hilarious. I asked Monica if we should try this little ride in the mall...but I was worried I would need to walk beside both of them so they didn't fall/jump out. We decided to let Parker try it by himself and we quickly saw how much he loved it so we added Presley and Aubree in- it had three little seats so it was perfect. Parker literally smiled a huge smile and didn't move a muscle the entire ride- so funny. He of course cried when we had to leave the little ride.

Well I better go check on the duo now! They are back in Presley's room and I hear drawers opening which means they are probably emptying out all of the clothes- one of Presley's favorite past times. I'm sure she's thinking geez I have nothing to wear! ;)
