Parker and Presley are now 9 months (7 months corrected age) Wow! Three months until the big ONE!
Here's the latest I want to remember and doctor updates:
(*disclosure- this post is for memories, unless you are family, you could probably care less..ha!)
Presley:
* Oh my, my, how curious you are!! Your little eyes dart around constantly looking for something to go after! When I am holding you, you are constantly trying to bend all around to get something! Today you were crawling your way to the presents under the tree over and over. I would pick you up and put you back in the center of the play mat and you'd look over your shoulder and scoot your way back to Grandmom's Christmas gift! Grandmom, we apologize if the corner of your present seems a little soggy. ;)
* Happy, happy! You love to smile and giggle! You are especially happy after a good long nap!
* You are SO attached to the monkey stuffed animal and your blankie. You love both SO much! Your face lights up and you giggle when you see your monkey! I'm not sure how you got so attached to it but you sure love him! When I lay you in your crib you often will feel around on your tummy to find monkey and scoot him under your head for a pillow. :) So sweet!
* You are so smart and know just how to tell us what you want. If you are crying in your bed I find you perfectly positioned to yell out the door and see your little face peeking through the bars on your crib.
* You decide instantly when you are ready to eat...there is no warning....just instant 0 to 60 scream. :) Just so you know, your cry is incredibly loud.
* You are on the sensitive side. If something scares you, or if Parker gently pulls your hair you let me know F-A-S-T.
* When I feed you baby food you really want the spoon all to yourself. Also, after every bite you stick your fingers in your mouth...and that makes eating very messy because then you get food on everything you touch.
*You like to be held when it's time to sleep but you also like being laid in your bed and me to pat you to sleep while you snuggle with your monkey or blankie...but you definitely don't want to realize you are alone. The other day I was singing you to sleep and patting you and you were on your tummy but you kept looking back to make sure I was still with you.
* You don't like Mommy or Daddy to leave the room...unless you are distracted and playing with a toy. If Daddy comes home and gives you attention but goes to wash his hands before picking you up, you get very upset...this happens daily. :)
*Love, love, love seeing yourself in the mirror.
* I love watching you jump in the jumper toys. You jump so hard and you hold you hands up just below your face and they bounce with you. Your little legs look so cute when you jump!
* You have a tooth that has broken through! Your first tooth! It is the bottom left tooth. You can't see it, but I can feel it.

Parker:
* Oh my sweet, sweet, sweet Parker! You are the sweetest happiest little guy I know. :) You smile and are happy to see everyone- even strangers. In church a few weeks ago, I was holding you and you were peering over my shoulder and smiling at the people behind us. You did the same thing in the waiting room at the doctor yesterday. You were smiling and making eyes at a lady in the waiting room- she called you a flirt. :)
* You really love seeing other babies! You got so excited to see your friends last week.
* You are a talker, singer, yeller. :) You babble constantly, sometimes it sounds like singing and often it's yelling for fun. Your favorite words are- mamama, bababa, dadada, and yelling ahhhhh. You think it's really funny when we say loudly- ahhh back at you. :)
* You L O V E to laugh! You think most things are funny and when you get to laughing you really laugh hard!
*You are so easy going! Your sister often demands attention first and you are so sweet and patient waiting your turn.
* There is no chance of you falling asleep without being held. You are not attached to any blankets or toys...just want to be held and rocked and I love that time with you. You (like your sister) also don't want to know you are alone. Sometimes when I am holding you, you every so often pop your head up lean back and look at me...like you are thinking, "ok yep momma is still here." :)
*You love seeing the German Shepherd puppy on the Baby Mozart video. Every time you see the puppy you smile and breathe hard out of excitement. It is so sweet!
* You love to jump!
* You love when Daddy comes home!
* When you cry, it is the saddest face and sound in the world! You don't cry often so it really breaks our hearts when you do. One of the saddest moments ever was when you had your finger pricked at the doctor yesterday.
* You are such a handsome little guy!!
* You make the cutest faces!
* You will have a tooth soon! You don't have any breaking through yet, but it won't be long!
Doctor Check Up-
You are both very healthy babies!
Parker- 17 lbs 2 oz, 28 1/2 inches long! You are very long Parker! We are adding more solids to your diet so maybe you'll put on a little more fat. :)
Presley- 16 lbs 6 oz, 26 inches long. You are petite Presley. :)
We learned (through the urine sample) that you have a virus Presley. You seem to be acting ok. I hope whatever it is passes soon!
You both had your finger pricked for an iron blood test. It was not a fun experience at all.
Parker and Presley: you really enjoy each other and especially love feeling each others hair. :) You are both so curious and getting so big!
I love you both more than anything in the world!
