Thanksgiving

Going a tiny bit out of order but now it's time for me to catch up on the photos on my phone. :)

We made little treats for p&ps school friends and we also gave a gift to their sweet teacher Miss Brittany

Ready for their feast at school

They all looked so cute in their hats! I'm still finding pieces of glitter on Presley's scalp from that hat ;)

We enjoyed Thanksgiving with both of our families! I love that we still get to stop by my granny's house, she's 88 and still hosting our family Thanksgiving! My Granny is an amazing lady that our entire family loves dearly!

I am so very thankful for these three little blessings below! They make Eric and I so very happy! Presley said she needed those glasses to help her see ;)

Thankful!

Decking the Halls

Shall we keep moving along and go right into Christmas? I say so ;)
The Monday before Thanksgiving this year (gasp.. yes I said BEFORE Thanksgiving hehe) we had no plans and a rainy day- sounds like a perfect day to decorate the tree to me! The remainder of the week/weekend was very busy so this turned out to be a great day to decorate!
The excitement from P&P this year about Christmas is off the charts! They are loving and anticipating every single part of Christmas- Jesus' birthday, Santa, the lights & décor, the season, upcoming trips to visit family, and whatever else Christmas related I may have left out ;) I love it all myself so I'm right there with them!
Little hands reaching high to decorate!

Fall Fun!

Yes, of course we carved a pumpkin this fall! After about 10-15 minutes of carving fun with P&P they lost interest and left Eric for the rest. ;) The final product was pretty, Eric did a great job!

Parker was just interested in the tools involved :)

A couple days before Halloween they had a Halloween Party at school. :)
The little girl with curly hair across from Presley is her BFF, Esme. She's a cutie!

Since Halloween Day Pres was sick we stayed home and made the best of it! Painting pumpkins was one thing on our agenda :)

We needed balloons of course ;)
Had to have a pumpkin for baby brother!

Halloween '13

The day before Halloween our neighborhood has a really neat pumpkin lighting! The neighborhood donates pumpkins to the elementary school & each kid/family carves a pumpkin. They bring the pumpkins over and light them all up for everyone to admire. The weather wasn't the greatest but we managed to get our time in seeing all the pumpkins before it started to rain. The neighborhood had a table with hot chocolate, drinks, and the cutest bakery cookies!

Before we left...

Halloween this year Parker was a knight & Presley a pink dragon! I showed them both several options online on my phone & let them choose. :) Presley ended up getting sick a couple days before Halloween so sadly they missed school on Halloween day & missed the school Pumpkin Patch :(
They had a BLAST trick or treating though & I'm pretty sure they would have trick or treated the entire state of Texas if we let them ;)
My handsome knight!
Cuties!
Pretty little dragon!

 Unedited ;)

Heading out in the neighborhood! Love that our neighborhood is full of friendly people who mostly all sit in their drive way to pass out candy.
Eric & I were so proud of P&P. They were so very polite & patient. Parker made sure to tell every person thank you & Happy Halloween. Sweet Presley waited so patient and quietly while many bigger kids stepped right in front of her to get candy.
This house a street over from us was insanely decorated! I bet it took them over a month to do it all! I couldn't get all of it in a picture

Pumpkin Patch!

Mid-October we went to a Pumpkin Patch with our friends and had so much fun! I'd say P&P are at the cutest age I can imagine for all the holiday fun this year! They are really able to vocalize & understand all the fun. I'm sure I'll think next year is the best as well.. but 3.5 is pretty fun!;)

My happy full of life kiddos! :)

 My kind hearted sweet boy!

My serious shopper Miss Presley. She could have spent all day searching for the perfect pumpkin!
Literally...she probably spent over 30 minutes looking & possibly touched every pumpkin in this big pile :) Parker was happy with his pumpkin choice after about 5 seconds of debate ;)

I'm very behind in my postings but hope to catch up very soon! Blogging isn't over for me ;)  I'm still here!
