2.5

 

My babies are two & a half! Here are just a few sweet things about them I want to be sure and remember. :)

Presley- at 2.5 you are fun, caring, and independent!

*You love to pretend anything and everything is either a puppy, cookie, ice cream, or monster. That last one doesn't seem to fit in with all the other pleasant things (ha!) but you love to hide and pretend a monster or wolf is coming! Often Parker will be the monster while Presley hides under the covers in my bed. I'm pretty sure Presley could play monster all day and be happy.

*We had a first- first time pedaling on your tricycle- cutest thing!

*You are very loving and caring. When Parker had a really bad stomach virus lately Presley was really concerned and when I first told her he was sick she said "be OK? Drink of water?" and then rubbed his head for a minute. :) So sweet.

*Jumping, climbing, exploring. You have always loved to jump! We have been going to several indoor playscapes with friends and I have noticed you have no fear and will explore/climb anything, right with the bigger kids. Gives me a heart attack sometimes.

*Independent. You want to do everything by yourself and would rather not hold my hand when walking outside in parking lots (grr!) ;)

Parker- at 2.5 you are full of life & energy, inquisitive, playful.

*Pretty sure with Parker around it would be very hard to be unhappy or in a bad mood. He is always excited and happy over the tiniest things! He literally wakes up saying, "YAY" with his hands straight in the air, excited for anything the day has to offer.

*Curious! He wants to know what anything and everything is and what it does! Car rides involve constant talking from Parker pointing out everything he sees and asking what it does. Example- "electrical box DO Momma?" and he puts his hands in the air palm up while asking. 

*Talker. He is very seldom quiet. :)

*Affectionate. Parker loves to hug, and be held for a large part of the day. I can usually only escape for a few minutes (sometimes seconds!) before he's looking for me. He wants to be up high learning/watching what I'm doing. When we go to playgrounds/parks Parker will play & explore but every few minutes he comes back yelling, "Momma, Momma, Momma" with arms straight out for a hug and a huge smile on his face.

*Loves all things technical, & transportation. :) Life in the car is pretty exciting for Parker with ALL the construction going on around us. Sometimes in traffic I'm thankful for all the construction to give P&P exciting things to see like bulldozers, cement trucks, cranes. Who needs the zoo? ;)
