Trip to SFA

A few weeks ago we went on a little road trip to East Texas to watch Eric's college play a basketball game. They have a great team this year & we usually try and make one game a year anyway. P&P were super excited and did pretty good watching the game.
Two happy travelers

One of our last trips as a family of 4 :)

She loves Italian like her momma. This was what I looked forward to with this trip, it's one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever eaten at! Presley kept saying how much she lovedddd it :)

Cuties!

Ringing the bell by the train station

Parker's turn :)

She had fun spending most of her time dancing to the music :)

The game was practically sold out- few empty seats! It ended up being a super close game with a great ending of SFA winning in the last second!

Christmas Card Photos

OK, going through my files to get pictures posted & I noticed I somehow skipped posting these pictures I took back in November. Better late than never, especially since I print this blog into books for our family memories. :)

Few Presley Dance Photos

Presley LOVED her dance class. We are taking a break now since she's in soccer but I do plan on her going back to this same dance school, she loved it! Here are just a couple of pictures I took one day (through the window that is in the waiting room, ha!) :)

Presley is in the pink and black (you can see her back) You probably already knew by her signature bun hair-do ;)

 She's on the left

Baby Pryce in 3D

Awhile back (when I was 28 weeks) we went & had a 3D sonogram of Pryce. I was so excited to bring P&P along so they could get a peek at baby brother! One of the neatest parts of a 3D sonogram is seeing babies face! Mr Pryce was being VERY shy ;) & had his feet blocking his face completely! We went to the BEST sonogram place, one of my good friends parents own it & her Dad was the one doing my sonogram- (A Miracle to Behold Ultrasound.) Her Dad worked diligently & tried just about everything to get Pryce to move, including having me drink some coke to try & get Pryce active & moving. Finally, he was able to get those feet moved to the side just enough so we could see most of Pryce's sweet face! I'm his Mom but I of course think he looks cute as can be & can't wait to kiss his cheeks. :)
P&P thought it was the neatest thing! They of course lost interest after awhile since it took an extra long time but Parker was so sweet to come over to me a few times while I was laying on the table & say, "Mommy you doing OK?" Such a sweet, thoughtful little guy :)

See those ankles crossed & feet smashed up to his face? I can only imagine how scrunched up he is now 6 weeks later :)

Cute little guy!!

Fishing!

We were so excited to take p&p to the lake by our house for some fishing a couple of weeks ago when Eric took a Friday off! He never takes days off so this was a great long weekend!
We didn't have any success with the fish but p&p were very patient & had fun regardless! Leave it to Parker though (BOY!) to end up filthy & with soaking shoes and socks by the end. He had been busily throwing rocks & sticks into the water when next thing I know I look over & he's carrying a 5 foot long branch into the water & I guess it was so heavy he needed up stomping into the water with it! Ha!
Freedom ;)

One of the reasons we chose our neighborhood. It's not as convenient to the hwy as some neighborhoods would be but we love the open space, quiet, and views!

Parker's hands vs Presley's hands. haha!

Valentines & Lately

Whew I have a lot to catch this blog up on! This may just be one mega post with lots of pictures from my phone for the last month :)

We had a sweet Valentines Day! The day before Valentines p&p had a fun party at school & exchanged Valentine cards with their friends.

The Valentines they gave to their friends. Parker gave race cars & Pres bubbles. :)

At the school party

Something small for my other Valentine Eric :) What better small gift for him than Shiner?

All ready for my Valentines to wake up!

Off topic of Valentines but I found the besttttt coffee creamer that week! Girl Scout Cookie Caramel & Coconut- taste just like the cookies!!

----------------------------------
Lately-
We are full swing in soccer for both Parker & Presley. It has been quite the adventure watching 3 & 4 year olds play soccer! Here is Pres at her first practice. She's up first in that line :)

Here's Parker before we went to his first practice. Yes I fix his hair before soccer practice ;) ha! Such a cutie!

We took them on a Saturday awhile back to Cabellas to pick out their first fishing rod! They had a blast at Cabellas!

Who needs the zoo when you have Cabellas? Ok maybe a little morbid to compare but they did love seeing the animals ;)

They picked their fishing rods & were soooo excited!!

I'll do a separate post with their first fishing trip to the neighborhood lake next.

We've been having some awesome weather days mixed in between cold days. On one of the warm days I took p&p to lunch at Dairy Queen & then let them play on the outdoor playground. Daddy was able to come meet us for lunch too!

And who can go to Dairy Queen without some ice cream?

One day I was on the couch in the living room & heard the bathroom water running along with Presley giving directions to Parker. Oh dear, this is what I came into. ;) "washing his feet" looks to me like a pedicure- haha!

Quite the little duo I have. I love everyday with these two!

My little helper! I planted a few flowers yesterday afternoon & while I did pres helped sweep the sidewalk while Parker "planted berries" in another flower bed- ha! Busy bees those two

& lastly baby boy Pryce is still growing & growing in my tummy! I wish I could have a sonogram so they could estimate his size- he sure feels huge! :) I had a little scare right around 31 weeks with not feeling well (high heart , rate bad headache) so my doctor had me come in the following day for an appt to check things. We learned from the blood work they did that my blood platelets are lower than normal. I was so very sad to hear that because one part of the sickness I had when pregnant with p&p is low platelets (HELLP) I was worried I may not make it as far as I wanted to make it this pregnancy and my main goal- avoid the NICU. But the good news is I am 34 wks this week & at my last blood check my platelets stayed the same, didn't drop. I will be so happy if I get to 36 weeks and that goal doesn't seem so far off now! Yay & yikes ;)
Here he is in my tummy at 33 weeks. Feeling large & in charge over here ;)

Coming up next first fishing experience & a day trip to SFA :)
