Beach '14

So much to update around here! Now that school is in full swing, along with everything else, we've been on the go constantlyoi! Right after Labor Day we headed south for a little beach trip get away. We had the best time!! Wish we could've stayed longer, maybe next time! We stayed at a new place this year (just down the road from were we stayed in past years, same beach) and it worked perfectly for our family! The car ride at times was stressful with Pryce but otherwise he was a perfect traveller!


On the road! We weren't even out of the neighborhood before p&p asked- are we almost there?! Haha!








As long as she has her animals, she's good to go!

Right after we unpacked a little we headed down to the beach for a little bit & then went to the pool. The pool felt great!





They were in a BIG hurry to get to the beach :)

We've gone to the beach every year since p&p were 1. Every year has been a different experience. From chasing them up and down the beach, attempting to rock them to sleep in the condo, to one year Parker being terrified of the ocean, to them exploring every single inch of the condo with Eric & I on their heels making sure they didn't break something- ha! This year was very different, not only because we have a new member in our family but also because Parker & Presley are growing up! In the picture below we were watching the sunset on our first night & p&p were marveling in the beauty of every little thing around us- it was so neat to hear them appreciating the beauty. So nice to slow down and appreciate the little things. They also were a little less "busy" :) Eric and I found ourselves watching them this year without chasing anyone, haha

Ummm let's just say p&p went a little wild on the beach ;) They ran around the entire time and were just randomly throwing handfuls of sand/mud - yikes haha! They had fun that's for sure

We went on the dolphin tour one morning & saw a lot of dolphins! The tour is in the harbor and the dolphins follow the shrimp boats so you can see dozens of dolphins jumping around their boats! P&p loved it!!























Parker got nervous when we hit some rocky waves from another boats wake. So we ended up going inside the boat for awhile and the captain noticed Parker was nervous...so he offered Parker to drive the boat ;) & then Presley

We went to the confectionery candy shop! Best place!























Our last night we had dinner at Bubba Gump & then took p&p to the "fair" They had been talking about going to ride the rides the entire trip!











This year they were tall enough to ride several kiddie rides by themselves and boy did they have a BLAST! Reminded me of being a kid and loving six flags!
