6 Months!

6 months ago Eric and I were twice blessed! How did we ever live without you Parker and Presley?! We thought we were happy before but having children sure does make life even better! I told Eric the other day that being home with the babies is my dream job...a dream I didn't know existed for myself until they were born! I sure wish there was a way to push pause on life!

Here's what you are up to now Parker and Presley:

Parker
*You are such a happy baby! You have a smile for everyone you meet! You especially love to smile at your twin sister Presley. You love her so much! When I lay you next to her you reach out for her.
*You melt my heart when you cuddle.
*You are getting so big! I think you are close to 16 pounds now!
* You love for Mommy to carry you in the sling around the house.
*You are still very relaxed and calm.
* You love to sleep on your sides in your crib... you accidentally roll to your tummy sometimes and panic. You cry for help and Mommy runs to you!
* You are getting closer to sitting up on your own. You LOVE to sit up and look around.
* You like to explore toys with your hands.
* You have the sweetest voice when you talk to us (Daddy said this :))
* Daddy is introducing you to football!
* You have a hard time falling asleep on your own. You prefer to fall asleep just as you finish eating your bottle.
* We LOVE when you laugh with us! You still have bad reflux and if we get you laughing too much you throw up. :(
* Your neck is ticklish and when we change your clothes you always laugh.
* You love playing with your feet.
* You love to play in the jumperoo exploring all of the toys with your hands.
* You still furrow your eye brows often- your "serious" look. :)
* You don't cry very often at all....but I know when it's coming because your little bottom lip curls out. We pick you up and cuddle you quickly.
* You wake up early like Mommy. 7 am
Presley
* You are such a sweet little girl! Sometimes when we or others talk to you, you smile and sink down as if you are being bashful.
* You are very determined. If you see something you want you make your way to it. Nothing stands in your way.
* When you are not happy you always let us know pretty quickly. ;)
* You are coming out of a phase of only letting Mommy and Daddy hold you. For awhile you cried at the sight of everyone except Mommy and Daddy.
* You have the biggest smile and smile A LOT just like your brother...only you are more picky about who you will smile for. You are a little unsure of strangers.
* When Daddy holds you, you try very hard to get his fingers in your mouth.
* You have to have your blankie to fall asleep. You are great at falling asleep on your own. You shuffle and scoot around until you find just the perfect spot and suck on your blankie until you are asleep. I find you in the funniest positions in your crib. If I rock you until you fall asleep you will suck on the sleeve of my shirt or my arm. :)
* You have the sweetest high pitched girly voice.
* You are very curious and have to see everything that is going on. Your little head is constantly turning to look around.
* You love to play with toys and want all of them in your mouth.
* You love playing with your feet.
* You are very aware of your bottle. When you see your bottle you reach your hands out to grasp it and direct it towards your mouth.
* You are great on your tummy. You just hang out looking around or you roll to your back.
* You love to stand.
* I know when you are going to cry because you start breathing heavy and that bottom lip curls out. Breaks my heart! I make you feel better a.s.a.p.
* You sleep late like your Daddy. 8:30 am.
