Big Family News

I have been meaning to post some big family news for awhile now, but as you can see I've been lacking in my blogging skills. ;) BIG NEWS is my brother and sister in law are expecting TRIPLETS! 3 girls at that! ;) I could not be more excited to welcome these 3 sweet babies to our family!

I am excited for Kyle and Jordanna to be blessed with these three babies and all the joy they will bring to their lives! Yes, yes, the difficulty will be there.. but the joy and love way overpower the work, difficulty, and exhaustion.
It hasn't been an easy pregnancy thus far for them. There have been two major scares/worries at doctors appointments, testing, trips to Houston for specialty doctors, the whole sha-bang...but the good news is God has worked miracles and all of the scares seen by the doctors cleared themselves up and disappeared. There are 3 healthy baby girls growing.
If you happen to have a prayer list going, please add them to your prayer list. Jordanna is now on bed rest and had a procedure done yesterday to help keep those babies in. She will be 20 weeks tomorrow so she's gettin' up there in the pregnancy weeks.
I cannot wait for Parker & Presley to have their first cousins to play with! Poor Parker will be out numbered in the girl department ;) but maybe that will help him in the future understand women and their feelings, haha.

Happy weekend!

Can't forget these...

I remembered the other day that I never got around to posting some pictures I took of P&P this summer. I borrowed my friends lemonade stand and took pictures of P&P while they played- it's the cutest lemonade stand! While I'm adding these I want to jot down a few personality things about my babies that I want to remember...some of these things have been stored in my memory since summer so not all of these things are current :) They've really turned into miniature adults, having real conversations with me and it's the cutest!
Presley, you are already a little mommy- taking care of people (and most importantly your puppies), worrying about people's happiness, and an excellent helper! You are very independent and remind me of that when I try to help you get dressed, etc. You are the sweetest little girl.
Parker, you are quite the character. You love to laugh and make people laugh. You love people but at the same time you get nervous around new people or large groups (for a few minutes any way) ;) You usually duck your head down when strangers in a store first talk to you, and you also have told us when walking into a family gathering that that you are scared... "I'm scared Momma"
Presley, you love your friends and are ALWAYS dying to see them and play! At two and a half you also have a little fire cracker spirit sometimes.
Parker, you are interested in all things mechanical, and all boy. You always want to know how things work. Your favorites include vents, pipes, water towers, drains, trucks, trains,  tractors, and ALL construction equipment. You love car rides so you can go out and see most of those things!  I can count on you to point out all of those things as we drive! Presley often falls asleep in the car or watches her Care Bears movie, but Parker you prefer looking out the window at the world around you!
You guys really love each other and have so much fun playing. Yes we have the occasional bite incident and many disagreements about sharing but you love each other dearly. Presley, you love to love on your brother...Parker's not always interested in hugging as long as you'd like or holding hands constantly but he does love on you as well. I love watching you both at night give your night night hugs and kisses.
Parker, you are still a big cuddler! You love to hug and cuddle. You also do not like when anyone leaves or when we have to leave a place where you are having fun (most of the time.) You break everyone's hearts as you cry when they leave or when we have to leave your friends. You are such a lovable, sweet little guy! Ok, I better add on to that with- you are incredibly strong and tough- (haha for your Daddy) ;)

Some funny Presley quotes-
*"Oh my gosh." usually when there's a big mess or something has happened...it sounds so funny from her. ;)
*"PARKER!" In her Mom voice, really funny to hear her trying to get on to him for something.
*She also will try to blame things on someone else which usually gives me a chuckle. She once blamed the play dough mess on Nana. ;) "Nana did it."
Some funny Parker quotes-
*"Momma I need...." for awhile instead of saying "want" Parker would say need. Walking through the store we passed an end cap of cheetos and guess who started shouting, "Momma, I NEED cheetos!" :)
*"Time out Momma" if I am not doing something Parker wants me to do he tells me I am in time out.
Just a few things I wanted to jot down before forgetting!
I now have a little Parker next to me wanting attention so off I go. :)

Dinner time

I have a ton of precious pictures and memories of our family I want to post but for now here is a video of some dinner time crazy with P&P. Excuse the fact that while I'm trying to get Presley to sing twinkle, twinkle Parker was insistent on saying NO. ;) I want to be better about catching video of them, they do some pretty hilarious and precious things these days!

Halloween!

We had a very fun Halloween this year! P&P are at the age now where they understand and they were SOO excited for every part of it! The weekend before Halloween we went to visit our great friends for trick or treating in the downtown area of their town. We all had a great time! P&P love going to play at Aubree's house. :)
I couldn't resist buying these owl costumes. Here is Parker in full owl character- arms flapping and "whoooing" for the crowd. ha!
This picture makes me laugh, something about the back of that owl hat ;) Little Parker waiting patiently for his candy.
The girls got to drive by trick or treat. Jon pulled the girls around in Aubree's wagon. Parker was on a mission to get candy!

There just happened to be a water tower downtown. Have I mentioned Parker is in love with water towers? Random, yes. :) I think it started with my pointing them out while driving and now he spots them everywhere and loves looking at them. So Daddy made sure to take Parker up to see the water tower up close.
We also took them to trick or treat at the fire house. Look at that pitiful face on Presley. :) Notice what Parker is holding and Presley is not holding- candy! Eric took Presley's candy away, I didn't know and I let Parker keep his...I have many other pictures that have Presley reaching her arms out crying...she was pretty mad at us. :)
All of the kids at the Enlow's house

Halloween Day we had our friends Griffin & Gracyn over to play. I made a bunch of mummy dogs for the kids to snack on and the babies had fun playing!
And come sun down we were ready to trick or treat the neighborhood!
I'm pretty sure I've never seen them more excited than Halloween night waiting to go trick or treat.

We went up and down our street before coming back inside to pass out candy. P&P loved it! All of our new neighbors are very friendly and most of them sat outside in chairs to pass out candy. It was a great time for us to meet our neighbors. Once Parker asked me to carry his pumpkin because it was too heavy, I figured we should head inside- ha!
They equally loved handing out candy. The doorbell would ring and I've never seen Parker move so fast. Funny thing is they would both bring their pumpkin buckets to the door and also say trick or treat to our trick or treaters- haha! I made us some popcorn and the minute the doorbell rang Parker's bowl of popcorn went flying in the air- he literally threw it because he was in such a hurry. ;)

And so it began...the begging for candy. The next morning was real fun when they were begging for chocolate at 6am ;)
Hope everyone else had a fun Halloween!

Pumpkins!

The last week of September we loaded up and went to the Dallas Aboretum for their amazing Pumpkin Village! The Pumpkin Village is the most beautiful patch I have been too, surrounded by gigantic, shady trees and filled with thousands of pumpkins! This was P&Ps THIRD visit to this pumpkin patch, hard to believe this is their third Halloween! :)

In Cinderella's carriage :)
In other news, we are moved! Hope to have a post about the move coming soon :)

Outside!

We have been loving some time outside with these amazing temperatures! It is so nice to walk outside and feel cool, crisp air. I've been burning my pumpkin spice candle everyday and welcoming fall as early as possible. :) It is a little sad to me that I won't be putting up any fall decor with the move coming  up, but hopefully once we get settled (wherever that may be, we don't know yet..ahh) I can add a little fall decor around the new house!
Here are they are playing in the backyard one day last week after they both got fresh haircuts :)

2.5

My babies are two & a half! Here are just a few sweet things about them I want to be sure and remember. :)
Presley- at 2.5 you are fun, caring, and independent!
*You love to pretend anything and everything is either a puppy, cookie, ice cream, or monster. That last one doesn't seem to fit in with all the other pleasant things (ha!) but you love to hide and pretend a monster or wolf is coming! Often Parker will be the monster while Presley hides under the covers in my bed. I'm pretty sure Presley could play monster all day and be happy.
*We had a first- first time pedaling on your tricycle- cutest thing!
*You are very loving and caring. When Parker had a really bad stomach virus lately Presley was really concerned and when I first told her he was sick she said "be OK? Drink of water?" and then rubbed his head for a minute. :) So sweet.
*Jumping, climbing, exploring. You have always loved to jump! We have been going to several indoor playscapes with friends and I have noticed you have no fear and will explore/climb anything, right with the bigger kids. Gives me a heart attack sometimes.
*Independent. You want to do everything by yourself and would rather not hold my hand when walking outside in parking lots (grr!) ;)
Parker- at 2.5 you are full of life & energy, inquisitive, playful.
*Pretty sure with Parker around it would be very hard to be unhappy or in a bad mood. He is always excited and happy over the tiniest things! He literally wakes up saying, "YAY" with his hands straight in the air, excited for anything the day has to offer.
*Curious! He wants to know what anything and everything is and what it does! Car rides involve constant talking from Parker pointing out everything he sees and asking what it does. Example- "electrical box DO Momma?" and he puts his hands in the air palm up while asking.
*Talker. He is very seldom quiet. :)
*Affectionate. Parker loves to hug, and be held for a large part of the day. I can usually only escape for a few minutes (sometimes seconds!) before he's looking for me. He wants to be up high learning/watching what I'm doing. When we go to playgrounds/parks Parker will play & explore but every few minutes he comes back yelling, "Momma, Momma, Momma" with arms straight out for a hug and a huge smile on his face.
*Loves all things technical, & transportation. :) Life in the car is pretty exciting for Parker with ALL the construction going on around us. Sometimes in traffic I'm thankful for all the construction to give P&P exciting things to see like bulldozers, cement trucks, cranes. Who needs the zoo? ;)

Love these two happy toddlers so much!
